Dr. Scott Hebert — Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Scott Hebert (pronounced A-Bear) graduated from the University of Texas Dental School San Antonio in 1984 and completed an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 1988. He has been practicing pediatric dentistry on the Southside of San Antonio since 1988. Dr. Hebert is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. This means that he successfully completed a series of tests and case reviews that demonstrated his high level of competency as a pediatric dentist. Dr. Hebert has extensive experience in restorative dentistry, sedation and hospital dentistry. He has treated thousands of children from San Antonio and South Texas. Dr. Hebert considers it a great privilege to treat children. He recognizes how important it is for young patients to have positive dental experiences while growing up. It is his personal goal to help your child have a healthy smile and to teach him or her good dental habits that will last a lifetime.


Dr. Yusif Mohammad — Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Yusif Mohammad is a pediatric dentist who was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry in 2012. After spending time working as a general dentist, Dr. Mohammad returned to the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio to complete an additional two years of specialized training in pediatric dentistry with a strong focus on sedation dentistry and treating special needs patients.

Dr. Mohammad has a caring, fun and positive attitude. He is known best for singing the SpongeBob theme song to young children during dental treatment. When Dr. Mohammad is not having fun treating children in the clinic, he loves spending time with his beautiful wife and three bouncing boys.


Dr. Mike Miyamoto — Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Mike Miyamoto is a dental specialist trained in orthodontics. He chose to become an orthodontist after undergoing orthodontic treatment himself and realizing that having a healthy and confident smile can change your life!

He graduated dental school from the University of Southern California in 2009. After dental school, Dr. Miyamoto went on to complete specialty training in Orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University, graduating in 2011. He also earned a master’s degree during specialty training by conducting a research project using 3D X-ray technology.

Dr. Miyamoto’s family includes his wife Sue and children Joshua and Emma. As a former college baseball player, Dr. Miyamoto is a fan of all sports and enjoys watching and attending all types of sporting events. Go Spurs go! He and his family enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and watching movies.

Dr. Ana Lavermicocca — Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Ana Lavermicocca graduated from the University of Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho in Venezuela in 2004 and completed orthodontic training in 2007 at the Gama Filho University. In 2017, she completed training in pediatric dentistry at the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.

When Dr. L is not working hard treating her patients, she enjoys trying new restaurants, going to the movies and outdoor activities with her wonderful son Thomas and their dog Sasha.




Dr. Patricia Lopez — Board Certified Oral Surgeon
Dr. Patricia E. Lopez is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and a novel member of the Southside Children’s Dental Center. Dr. Lopez was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where she achieved her Dental Degree with honors at the Central University of Venezuela in 1996. She then accomplished a two-year internship at the Santa Rosa Maxillofacial Surgery Center in Caracas.

In 1999, Dr. Lopez moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, to complete her Post-doctoral Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. After graduation, she went back to Venezuela in 2003 and actively worked in private practice at the Santa Rosa Maxillofacial Surgery Center for eight years. Also, she was a Consultant Professor in the OMS Department at the Central University of Venezuela since 2004 and a Board Member of the Venezuelan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for four years.

In 2011, Dr. Lopez relocated to San Antonio, Texas- and became a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, San Antonio until December 2014. Actually, she is dedicated to the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, maintaining an academic affiliation as an Adjunct Professor at the Dental School, UTHSCSA one day a week.

Dr. Lopez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the International and Latin-American Associations of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Member of the Academy of Osseointegration, and a Member of the Dental Society of Anesthesiology. She also has accreditations in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support.

Dr. Lopez’s major areas of interest included: dento-alveolar surgery, osseointegrated implants, alveolar reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma and pathology among others.
