At Southside Children’s Dental Center, our primary concern is taking care of your family’s dental needs. When it comes to financial matters, we have experienced staff who have the knowledge and desire to help you with a variety of payment options.

Regardless of which insurance you have, we will verify your plan’s benefits, so that we can provide you with a detailed explanation and treatment plan before providing any services. As a benefit to our patients, we will gladly bill primary and secondary claims. We will also follow up on all claims in a timely manner, so that no benefits are lost due to untimely filing. We are committed to working with you and your insurance company to help ensure you receive all the benefits that you are entitled to from your insurance carrier.
Your dental insurance policy is a contract between yourself and the insurance carrier, not Southside Children’s Dental Center. Therefore, should there be any discrepancy or dispute on a claim, we may require your assistance to contact the insurance company to provide additional information, as they will often only communicate with you, the subscriber. While we will make every effort to contact you, if we are unable to connect with you to help with this process, you may then be responsible for the entire balance of your treatment.
Insurance carriers will at times change codes, downgrade a benefit, or discontinue covering a procedure. We may not be given this information when verifying your benefits and this may leave a balance we would not be aware of when preparing your treatment plan. After the insurance has paid the amount of your benefit in total, you will then be billed for any remaining balance on the account.
