Southside Dental Centers
Patricia Anguiano, RDH —
I have worked at Southside Children’s Dental Center for most of my career and loved it. Working with children makes me very happy, and I am proud to help shape good oral health.
I graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSC) in 1989 as a dental hygienist.
I am married to a wonderful man, Robert, and we have two sons, Anthony and Patrick. I enjoy running and walking and have even done several Rock-n-Roll ½ Marathons for fun and health benefits.
I treasure working and living on the Southside of San Antonio. It is my pleasure to continue serving this community and educating children and parents in maintaining healthy and happy smiles.
Deanza Mims, RDH (pronounced D-on-za) —
I graduated from the dental hygiene program at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas. Native to the big little city of Midland, Texas, I moved to San Antonio to get a feel for the big city living. I enjoy spending time with my three children, Elijah, Mia, and Cameron, whom I love and adore. Knowing early in life that I loved a beautiful smile and how helping to give someone their healthy smile back could truly make a difference in their self-esteem, I decided to go to hygiene school.
I love working with children and I believe starting things, in the beginning, makes an impact. Working in a pediatric office has helped in my endeavor of changing lives one “little” smile at a time.
Liliana Jasso, RDH —
I am a San Antonio native, born and raised on the south side of San Antonio. I love traveling with my husband and spending time with my family (and little dog, Truffles!).
Finding a passion in the dental field as a dental assistant, I continued my education and earned my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene at the University of Texas Health and Science Center SA in 2018.
My goal is that my patients would feel comfortable and that they would leave our office well equipped on home care maintenance. It is a joy to treat every patient with respect and treat them with the best of my care.
I’m honored to be a part of this growing office and I am excited to be a part of our patients' dental journeys!
David Leal, RDH —
I was born and raised in Guatemala, a country in Central America, were I obtained my optometrist license. In 2012, I had the opportunity to relocate to the United States. After several years of perfecting my English, I was able to attend Dental Hygiene school in San Antonio, Texas. I enjoy working with the Hispanic community and our children here at Southside Children's Dental Center.
Misha Gifford, RDH —
I am from Georgia, and began my career by joining the Air Force. During my six-year enlistment in the military, I gained valuable knowledge working as a dental assistant that would later help me in Dental Hygiene School. I graduated from Valdosta State University in 2020 with my Associates Degree.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Napoleon, of 13 years, who is currently serving in the Air Force. Together we have three beautiful daughters Nivea, Natia and Charli.
In my spare time, I love baking and watching football on t.v. I’m an avid GA Bulldogs fan. GO DAWGS!!
I have always loved a nice smile. That’s one thing that I love about my husband, and it's also what attracted me to the world of dental. I enjoy working at Southside Children's Dental Center because it affords me the opportunity to impact the youth and inspire them to take care of their beautiful smile.
