General Dentists & Oral Surgeon
Southside Family Dental Center
Joseph S. Olea,DDS —
I graduated in 1995 from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental school and I was fortunate to open my family practice next to Southside Children’s Dental Center. I have served the people of San Antonio for 25 years, and I am grateful to continue to practice in the same location with such distinguished professionals, not to mention the state-of-the-art, advanced equipment.
I was born in Ohio and graduated from a local high school, then continued my education at St. Mary’s University. I’m fluent in Spanish and have practiced dentistry in Mexico and Guatemala through missionary work. I am married to a San Antonio native and have two wonderful children. When I’m not at the office, I have mountain biked in Colorado, road biked from San Antonio to Corpus Christi and enjoy riding the Texas hill country.
Erica Lovell,DDS —
I love utilizing art and science to help people achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Every patient that I meet is special, and it is my goal to ensure that I treat everyone with skill as well as compassion.
I am a native Texan and graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a degree in biology. Subsequently, I earned my dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2007, where I was twice given the Dean’s Leadership Award. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of treating patients of various ages, so I’m thrilled to be a part of Southside Family Dental Center. My spare time is spent traveling and exploring with my husband.
